Any structure of significant height is prone to many problems, particularly industrial brick, steel and concrete chimneys. BEST Services specialist diagnostic surveys include core sampling, photographic and ultrasonic data recording, offering accurate problem analysis.

After client consultation, remedial actions, including reinforcing, pointing, re-lining, capping, corrosion or chemical attack treatment, de-scaling or re-coating can be undertaken, or if the damage is beyond repair, demolition can be safely commissioned.

Inspection of high chimneys, masts, or towers is recommended once a year to monitor both operating efficiency if working or general condition of redundant structures.
